Our mission

BITE BACK! is more than just an events company - we’re a community based organisation and a collaborative project. We wouldn’t exist without our attendees, our team and our performers. That’s why we are dedicated to giving back to our community through opportunities, fundraising and more. We also try and work with organisations across Leeds and beyond to find what organisations and support we can signpost to our communities.

Two women are singing into a microphone in a dimly lit bar or club. One woman wears a gray beanie and a black jacket with yellow tape reading 'FIRE LINE DO NOT CROSS,' and the other woman has curly hair and wears a black jacket. They are close to each other, singing passionately.

We have high hopes for what BB can and could be, and whilst we are currently Leeds based, we’d love to take BB to more cities across the UK!

As our organisation focus is trans and neurodivergent folk, we are committed to creating safe space for these communities to the best of our ability. This is because these communities often have our needs ignored and may not often see our experiences reflected on a stage. We are also committed to only doing events at wheelchair-accessible venues, as we want to include and involve all members of our community.
