Jinx

Jinx-jae (he/they) is the founder of Bite Back! and created BB! due to feeling isolated when attending events. Jinx is usually seen at events as their drag persona, Fae Fatale, and has been curating events for several years.

Robyn

Robyn (she/her) is our co-director and complaints officer. She is a disabled trans woman who has been working with us since the start of Bite Back! and is passionate about supporting our ethos.

Edd

Edd Rugg (they/them) is an emerging poet & artist living and working in Leeds. They have performed  and published work internationally from York - to New York - with theatre companies such as Roots (Producers of Happy Meal) and Trans and Non-binary poetry imprint new.words.press.

Fraya

Fraya (they/them) is our stage manager and ensures your props, lighting cues and any stage setups are organised on the night! Fraya joined BB to support their friends and the community.


Nat

Events assistant

Nat (she/they) is a disabled individual responsible for supplying homebaked goods to the masses as well as general assistance at BB! events. With backgrounds in both healthcare and food prep, whether you need a sugar boost or have a dietary requirement, they are passionate about making BB! events accessible in the ways that are often overlooked when we consider what accessibility means.

Sarah

Sarah (she/her) is a cis woman who is passionate about providing opportunities and support for trans people, especially in the local music/performing scene. As a burlesque performer herself, she advocates for those less represented in the scene and supports Bite Back's mission to carve out specific spaces for trans, non-binary and neurodivergent artists.
